Elsie Reed

Mrs. Elsie Reed age 71 of Laurel Springs died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Reed was born January 2, 1938 in Mecklenburg County to the late David and Nora Crump Whitley.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Reed and son, David Danny Reed.  She was a member of Peak Creek Church of the Brethren.  She enjoyed spending time at Mountain Hearts. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lonnie Pruitt.  Burial will follow in the Reed-McMillian Cemetery.
