Ethel Elliott Greer age 90 of Warrensville, NC, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Greer was born in Ashe County, NC on August 14, 1914 to Charlie and Mary Arnold Elliott. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lester Greer, daughter; Helen Maxine Greer, sons; Paul William Greer, and Jones Charles Greer.
Mrs. Greer was a dedicated wife. She and Mr. Greer were married on October 21, 1931. She loved to cook, crochet, and work in her vegetable garden.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. at Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Tom Stuart, Eulogy by son Howard Greer, Rev. Bill Miller, and Rev. Jim Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 11, 2005 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2540 West Mill Creek Rd. Warrensville, NC 28693.

Son: Howard Greer of Stillwater, Oklahoma

Daughter: Mary Ann Greer of Warrensville, NC

Sisters: Eula Ham of Jefferson, NC; Alma Houck of West Jefferson, NC and Esther Woodie of Lansing, NC

Grandchildren: Stephen Greer of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ina Barker of Warrensville, NC, Katherine Magill of Edmond, Oklahoma and Charles Greer of Warrensville, NC

7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
