Ethel Thacker

Ethel Thacker, age 93 of Swansboro, NC, died Sunday, January 11, 2004 at the Crystal Coast Rehabilitation Center in Morehead City, NC. Mrs. Thacker was born September 18, 1910 in Norfolk, VA to the late William and Rosa Petree. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thacker was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Thacker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the North Beaver Baptist Church. Rev. David Blackburn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Calloway Cemetery. The family will receive from 7:00 till 8:30 Tuesday, January 13th at Badger Funeral Home.

Daughters: Catherine Truselo of Swansboro, NC, Rose Marie Willis of Newport News, VA & Virginia Williams of Swansboro, NC

Step-son: Ralph Thacker of Springfield, MI

Sister: Elizabeth Fields of Ft. Lauderdale, FL

10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
