Etta Evelyn (Lewis) Woodard

Etta Evelyn Lewis Woodard, age 77 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Rutherford Regional Health System. Mrs. Woodard was born on March 6, 1942 in Ashe County to Bueal Lewis and Dorna Lee Osborne Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Baxter Robert Woodard, and a brother, Harold Dean Lewis.

Mrs. Woodard is survived by:  one sister, Betty Osborne and husband "Jack" of Creston; one brother, Jerry Ray Lewis of Creston; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Brother Anthony Roark. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 prior to the service at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
