Farris Jones

Farris Howell Jones, age 68 of Creston died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at the Christiania Hospital in Wilmington, NC. Mr. Jones was born April 16, 1935 in Ashe County to the late Ralston and Verdie Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM, Sunday, June 8th at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Michael Worth and Rev. Billy Morefield will officiate. Burial will follow in the Jones-Lewis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 till 3:30 PM prior to the service.

Daughter: Linda Worth of Avondale, PA

Stepson: Paul Trivette of Mtn. City, TN

Brothers: J. R. Jones & J. D. Jones both of Creston and Johnny Jones of Mtn. City, TN

Sisters: Kathleen Roush, Barbara Roush & Patsy Lewis all of Creston, NC,
Mary Blevins of Lansing, Arzella Roush, Mae Johnson and Bonnie Lewis all of Mtn. City, TN

6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, several nieces & nephews also survive.
