Faye (Blevins) Testerman

Faye Blevins Testerman age 88 of Grassy Creek passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Margate Health and Rehab. She was born in Ashe County on Friday, November 25, 1932 to the late Arthur Lloyd and Lela Mae Massey Blevins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jones Nelson Testerman, six brothers, Paul, Fred, Dean, Robert, James and R.L. Blevins, three sisters, Ruth Blackburn, Mary Oliver and Violet Blevins.  Faye was a member of Landmark Baptist Church since 1948. She retired from Genuine Parts/NAPA out of Charlotte. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and sharing laughter.

Mrs. Testerman is survived by one daughter, Christine Chandler of Charlotte, two sons, Richard “Rick” Blevins of Grassy Creek and Garry Blevins and wife Diane of Lansing, two brothers, Larry Blevins and wife Bert, and Rex Blevins of Lansing, one sister, Beryl Carter of Lansing, three grandchildren, Amber Becker and husband Julian, Jesse Blevins, Jesse Dyer and wife Cindy, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Testerman will lie in state on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home.

The family will not be present to receive friends, but would like everyone to have an opportunity to view her and pay their respects.

The family also wants you all to know that they wish that they could visit with you, but due to the pandemic, they would like to protect everyone, family, and friends as much as possible while still honoring her life. Due to this, private family services will be held.
