Frank Rodney White

Frank Rodney White, age 62 of Creston passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on March 30, 1961 in Baltimore Maryland to Willard and Norma Price White. Frank was a self-taught banjo player and band member of the Jest Country Band. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. After graduation Frank joined the military; he went through basic training at Camp Pendleton in California and was stationed in Okinawa Japan; his total time in the Marine Corps was four years. Mr. White is survived by his wife, Connie Wilson White of Creston, parents, Willard and Norma White of Mt. Zion, WV, one daughter, Amy Kreps of Columbia, SC, one son, Andrew Lockhart of Pahrump, NV, his brother, James White of Maddison, WV, his sister, Chrystal Reip of Grantsville, WV, one grandson, Sean Harper and several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be no services; per Mr. White’s request, he will be taken back to the mountain.
