. Mrs. Geneva Lou Dollar Black, age 76, of West Jefferson died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter.  Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at the Badger Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Tommy Dollar, Rev. Billy Joe Blevins and Rev. Tony McNeil.  Burial will follow in the Beaver Creek Christian Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday evening at Badger Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00. Mrs. Black was born on August 3, 1934 to Garland and Margaret Shatley Dollar.  She was married to Warren G. "Buster" Black for 55 years.  He preceded her in death on July 1, 2011.  In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Black was pre-deceased by one brother, Jack Dollar and one sister Kathleen Dollar Ashley. Mrs. Black is survived by her daughter and son-in law:  Linda and Harold Crouse of West Jefferson; Two grandchildren: Ryan and Maribeth Ashley of Jacksonville, FL &  Renee` Ashley of West Jefferson, Two step-grandchildren: Ashley Crouse of Alexandria, Virginia, and Nicholas Crouse and fiancé, Whitney Rathburn, of Hendersonville, NC one great-grandchild:  William Ashley of Jacksonville, Florida, one step-great-grandchild: Kaiden Crouse of Hendersonville, NC three sisters and brother-in laws: Shirley and Jay Eller of Statesville, Phyllis and Johnny McNeil of Lansing, and Josie and Joe Hoosier of Jefferson.  The family wishes to acknowledge two special friends:  Ann Jones of Warrensville and Susan Parsons of Yadkinville.  Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Black will be remembered for the love devotion she had for her family and friends.  She enjoyed gardening and camping.  She was a favorite among many at Greenfield Campground.     The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to High Country Healthcare System Hospice PO Box 421 Jefferson, NC 28640 or to Gideon's International PO Box 1014 Jefferson, NC 28640.
