George Severt

George Franklin Severt age 84 of Laurel Springs, NC died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at his home. Mr. Severt was born on April 4, 1918 in Jefferson, NC to Tom and Lou Dillard Severt.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mace Johnson, Elder Floyd South, and Elder Eddie Lyle. A military graveside will follow in the Roans Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends December 27, 2002 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. The family request that memorials be made to Hospice of Ashe, PO Box 421, Jefferson, NC 28640, or to the Roans Creek Primitive Baptist Church c/o Jackie Sheets, 128 Sheets Drive, Jefferson, NC 28640.

9 Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews also survive
