Gertie Phillips

Gertie Lee Perkins Phillips age 83 of Warrensville, NC died Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at the North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Mrs. Phillips was born on July 25, 1919 in Ashe County, NC to Tom and Cora Barker Jones. She was a member of the Warrensville United Methodist Church. She had a great love for the Warrensville Community, and loved to work in her flower garden.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband Webb Perkins.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 4, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Warrensville United Methodist Church. Rev. Rodney Frye will officiate. Burial will follow in the Howell Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Warrensville United Methodist Church, PO Box 187, Warrensville, NC 28693.

Grandchild: Ricky Greer of Maryland
