Glenda Osborne

Glenda Joann Johnson Osborne, age 59 of Creston, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Osborne was born October 22, 1946 in Jefferson, North Carolina to Joseph Glen and Helen Eller Johnson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hartsog. Mrs. Osborne was a member of Ben Bolen Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, flowers, and most of all, her family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Clifton Baptist Church. Rev. Chuck Call and Rev. Mack Arnold will officiate. Burial will follow in the Vernon Osborne Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, April 17, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Sisters: Patsy Phillips and Wanda Rash of Creston, NC, Barbara Robbins of Seven Devils, NC, Carolyn Schurter of Jefferson, NC and Kathy Johnson of West Jefferson, NC

Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
