Grace (Davis) Miller

Grace Davis Miller, age 68 of Laurel Springs, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at her home.  Mrs. Miller was born on January 26, 1954 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late William Garvie Davis Sr. and Ethel Emma Poe Davis.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two infant grandsons, Aston Carter Miller and Jacob Lucas Miller.

Mrs. Davis loved reading her Bible and driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, enjoying the scenery.  Grace was a member of Senter Primitive Baptist Church and was baptized in 1983.  She had been looking forward to meeting her fifth grandchild, Hadley Grace.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, Tony Miller, two sons, Chad Miller (Melissa) and Andy Miller both of Laurel Springs, six brothers, William Garvie “Junior” Davis, Randall Davis (Peggy), Earl Davis (Brenda) and Jessie Davis (Michele), all of Crumpler and Larry Davis (Evangalene) and Dennis Davis (Debbie) both of Laurel Springs, one sister, Rita Severt (Billy) of Glendale Springs, four grandchildren, Tanner, Kyleigh, Zoie and Paxton Miller and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Elder Larry Davis and Elder John Jackson. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the service.
