Haroldean Miller

Haroldean Miller age 83 of Jefferson, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Margate Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Miller was born on Sunday, March 10, 1935 to the late Robert Howard and Brucie Mae Shatley Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Lee Miller. He retired from Thomasville Furniture and was a member of Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church. Haroldean liked to play and listen to bluegrass music, he was very talented, he loved playing the guitar performing with many people in the County and later with the gospel group The Taylor Family. During his spare time he enjoyed spending time on the porch at his place on the New River.

Mr. Miller is survived by, his wife, Carol Anderson Miller, one son, Jeff Miller of Jefferson, two daughters, Sandra Eldreth and husband Louis of Jefferson, Deborah Presnell and husband David of Sparta, one sister, Colleen Campbell of Jefferson, four grandsons, Louis Eldreth, Jr., Brandon Presnell, Joshua Presnell and wife Stacey, and Anderson Miller, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lloyd Day, Rev. Corey Halsey and Rev. Doug Halsey. Burial will follow in the Calloway Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to, American Cancer Society or the Ronald McDonald House.
