Hazel Jones Denny age 91 of Jefferson, NC died Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the Segraves Care Center. Mrs. Denny was born on June 22, 1912 in Ashe County, NC to James Calvin and Lucinda Toole Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gwyn Denny, son Kenneth W. Denny, and daughter Janice Kay Denny Lewis.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 5, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. at the Healing Springs Baptist Church. Rev. David Blackburn and Rev. Jeff Vogler will officiate. Mrs. Denny will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the Healing Springs Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the North Carolina Baptist Children's Home c/o Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church, PO Box 65, Jefferson, NC 28640.

5 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
