Howard Johnson Davis

Howard Johnson Davis age, 88 of Todd died Monday, April 12, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Davis was born April 2, 1933 in Watauga County to the late John Lookabill and Annie Mae Johnson Davis.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his son, Douglas Howard Davis and one brother, Lawrence Edward Davis.

Howard enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Angeleen Ruth Worley Davis; two daughters, Kim Miller and husband, Ronnie of Fleetwood and Debbie Stephens and husband, David of Todd; two sons, Johnie Davis and wife, April and Corey Davis (Chasity Matheson) both of Todd; step-son, Krandell “Radar” Worley of Crumpler; one brother, Johnny L. Davis (Ocil Roop) of Crumpler; six grandchildren, Eric Davis and wife, Jillian, Bryan Miller, Shane Miller, Brandon Davis, Vanessa Gardener, and Cassandra Renton and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. J.D. Walton.  Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 one hour prior to the service.

Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel; 3470 U.S. Highway 221 N. Jefferson, NC 28640.
