Howard Earl Stike

Howard Earl Stike, age 85 of Warrensville, died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at his home.  Mr. Stike was born June 16, 1935 in Ashe County to the late William and Hattie Turnmire Stike.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Marie Shaw Stike and brothers, Riley and Ray Stike.  Howard was a hard worker and always liked to stay busy.  He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Stike Cemetery by Rev. Tommy Dollar.

Mr. Stike is survived by his daughter, Shirley Pruitt of Warrensville, brothers, Lee Stike of West Jefferson, Paul Stike and Fred Stike both of Warrensville, sisters, Gaye Turnmire and Mae Medley both of Warrensville, 5 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the family c/o Badger Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., West Jefferson, NC  28694.

The family will be meeting at the home of Shirley Pruitt at 9425 Hwy. 194 N. in Lansing.
