Ivan Ray Smith

Ivan Ray Smith, age 76 of Warrensville died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Margate Health and Rehab. Mr. Smith was born April 28, 1943 in Avery County to the late Kermit and Lola Frost Smith.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Tony Smith.

Ivan was a very likable and friendly person.  He loved to go fishing and spend time outdoors.

No formal services were held per Ivan's request.

Mr. Smith is survived by, sons, William and Michael Smith both of Raleigh, sisters, Sylvia Krombel of Banner Elk and Euleta Barrier of Drexel, his long time companion, Carol Sullins of Warrensville, special friend who was like a brother, Charles “Junior” Banner of TN.
