James Krider

James Ceasar Krider, age 84 of Simi Valley, CA, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at his home. Mr. Krider was born February 2, 1921 in Ashe County to the late Ceasar and Ada Wilcox Krider. Mr. Krider was a member of the Canoga Park Elks Lodge, # 2190. Mr. Krider was owner and operator of J C's Barber Shop in Canoga Park, CA for 40 years.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. A. B. Weaver will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Wednesday, prior to the funeral service.

Mr. Krider is survived by:

Wife: Roberta "Bobbe" Krider

Son: James Krider of California.

Brothers: Jasper Krider of Battle Ground, Washington and Jack Krider of Todd.

Sisters: Jo Ann Weaver and Nell Eller, both of West Jefferson, Betty Hayes of Boone, and Irene Miller of Todd.

Five grandchildren also survive.
