James Michael (Mike) Richardson

Mr. James Michael Richardson, better known as Mike, age 66 of Lansing died Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.  Mr. Richardson was born November 3, 1952 to the late James and Danish Brooks Richardson.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Cathy Russell and nephew Gary Barr.  Mike was the owner and operator of Richardson’s Air Cooled Engines and was known as one of the best mechanics in the county.  He never met a stranger.  Mike was a member of Tuckerdale Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 5 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Fred Richardson, Minister Danny Miller, and Rev. Tommy Dollar. The family will receive friends from 3-5 prior to the service.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife, Carolyn Richardson, daughters, Molly Richardson and boyfriend Brian Williams and Mandy Richardson and fiancée Benjie Patton, son, Jesse Richardson and girlfriend Tiffany Shatley, grandchildren, Landon Calhoun, Alston Elliott, Maddox Williams, Beau Patton and Jace Williams, nephews, Mark Roper and Chris Fink, niece, Teresa Fink, sister-in-law, Diane Tedder and Father-in-law Bynum Richardson and fiancee, Ardene Testerman.
