James Taylor

Mr. James Michael Taylor better known as Mike age 53 of West Jefferson, NC died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Taylor was born February 18, 1955 in Ashe County to James Fred and Mable Bower Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his father.  He was an avid bowler in Boone, Wilkes and Ashe Counties.  Mike enjoyed working with gemstones and giving them to his friends.  He was always willing to help anyone in need.  He loved music and made CD's for a lot of people.   The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Badger Funeral Home.   Mr. Taylor is survived by:   One son:  Josh of West Jefferson, NC   His mother:  Mable Bower Taylor of West Jefferson, NC   Two sisters:  Katy Taylor and Sandra (Randall) Bare all of Jefferson, NC   Special friend:  Mathew Taylor   2 aunts, 5 uncles, 2 nephews and several cousins   The family respectfully requests no food or flowers please; Memorials may be made to:   American Heart Association c/o Cathy Finley 392 Richardson Hollow Rd.
