James Vince age 88 of Jefferson, NC, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at his residence.
Mr. Vince was born in Norwich, New York on December 9, 1917 to the late Luis and Mary DeBell Vince. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Jefferson, NC and often attended Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church. Mr. Vince was retired after working as a plant supervisor with Union Carbide. He was preceded in death by his wife; Marion Barber Vince.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the West Jefferson First Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Morris and Rev. Rob Brooks will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 13, 2005 following the memorial service at the West Jefferson First Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the West Jefferson First Baptist Church or the Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church.

Deborah Wilson of Efland, NC

Sister: Josephine Boylan of Florida

Special Friend: Edith Jones of West Jefferson, NC
