Mr. Jared Franklin Hart age 23 of West Jefferson, NC, died Saturday, May 26, 2007. Mr. Hart was born October 28, 1983 in Watauga County, NC to David Allen Hart and Deborah Rash Phipps.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson, NC by Rev. Lloyd Day, Rev. Clay McLean, Rev. Johnny Goodman and Rev. Dean Watson. Burial will follow in Lewis-Kemp Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9pm Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Buffalo Baptist Church, c/o Kim Harless, 218 Beaver Dr., West Jefferson, NC 28694.

His mother: Deborah Rash Phipps of West Jefferson, NC.

His father: David Allen Hart of West Jefferson, NC.

3 brothers: Jamey Hart and Nathan Hart both of West Jefferson, NC; Bryan Hart of Arkansas.

1 sister: Calli Phipps of West Jefferson, NC.

Maternal grandmother: Jean Rash of West Jefferson, NC.

Paternal grandmother: Louise Hart of Laurel Springs, NC.

3 nephews, 1 niece, several aunts and uncles also survive.
