Jeff Greer

Jeff Greer, age 69 of Lansing, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 13, 1955, in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Bluford Greer and Mamie Poe.

Jeff's life was a testament to his passion for cars and motorcycles, particularly old muscle cars and his cherished Dodge Challenger. As a skilled mechanic and bodywork expert, he poured his heart and soul into restoring and rebuilding these iconic vehicles. Beyond his love for engines and metal, Jeff found joy and freedom riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Jeff's greatest love was reserved for his family. For nearly 40 years, he shared his life and his love with his devoted wife, Sherry. His daughter and grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them. They were his world, and his love for them knew no bounds.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Sherry Ham Greer, daughter, Amanda Greer Neaves (William Earl), four grandchildren, Isaiah Neaves, Elijah Paul Neaves, Abel James Neaves and Hannah Elizabeth Neaves. Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Imogene Ham, sister-in-laws, Lesia Miller (Roger), Judy Rupard (Dean), brother-in-law, Jimmy Ham (Chelsie) and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the Ham Cemetery by Rev. Phil Arnold.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of Ashelawn Memorial Chapel and Gardens; 3470 US Highway 221 N., Jefferson, NC 28640. Flowers and food will be appreciated.
