Jerry Dean Mullis

Jerry Dean Mullis better known as Pedro passed away at his home in Newland on Saturday, June 4, 2021. He was a loving soul and loved to watch wrestling, Law & Order and Days of Our Lives. He loved everyone, his laugh was contagious “Ho Ho Ho.” Mr. Mullis was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Mullis his mother, Stella Mullis and brother, Billy Gene Mullis.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, June 11, 2021 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. J. D. Walton and Rev. Lloyd Day.  Burial will follow in the West Jefferson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 5:00 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Mullis is survived by one son, Shane Mullis of Wagoner, one brother Dale Mullis of West Jefferson and two sisters Linda Mullis of West Jefferson and Shirley Tincher of Denton NC. Several aunts and uncles and a number of grandchildren also survive.
