Jerry Tilson Vanover

Mr. Jerry Tilson Vanover, age 65, of Creston, NC died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Vanover was born on June 21, 1948 in Ashe County to Wade and Hazel Vanover. Mr. Vanover was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Vanover and Vonley Vanover; sister, Geneva Clemmons. Mr. Vanover enjoyed riding four wheelers, fishing and working in the garden.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Brother Anthony Roark. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Vanover is survived by: Sister, Shirley Winebarger of Creston, Sister, Jean Vanover of Creston; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
