Jessa Hinnant

Jessa Hinnant, age 45 of Warrensville passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. She was born on August 25, 1979 in Otero, New Mexico. Jessa lived her life with a joyful heart and found happiness in the simple pleasures that brought her closer to those she loved. Jessa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Georgia and Frank Hinnant and Hal and Alma Gean Miller.

She had a love for singing and dancing, filling her days with music and laughter. As an avid reader, she found solace in the books she read. Jessa also loved attending Clemson football games, where she cheered on her team and enjoyed the time with family and being a fan. Beach vacations with her family were some of Jessa’s most cherished moments, where she enjoyed quality time with loved ones. The 4th of July was a special time for her, as family gatherings and celebrations held a special place in her heart.

Jessa trained as a CNA and nurse however, she was most proud of her work with special needs children. Helping them reach their goals filled her with immense pride and joy, and she dedicated herself to their success with compassion and patience.

Above all else, Jessa’s greatest joy and purpose in life was being a mother. She loved her son deeply and dedicated herself to his happiness and well-being.

Jessa is survived by her son, Kingston Hinnant, her mother and father, Frank and Pam Hinnant of Warrensville, brother, Greg Hinnant and wife Lori of Denver, North Carolina and two nephews, Grant and Miller Hinnant and her aunt Mary Waldrop of Warrensville. Also surviving are her brother and nephew of the heart, A.J. and Jackson Ashely, aunt, Mary Waldrop of Warrensville as well as several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Chris Goforth and Rev. Steve LeaShomb. A light reception will follow.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm one hour prior to the service.

A private committal will take place at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jessa will be remembered for her warmth, her joyful spirit, and the love she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
