Joan Woodard Eller

Joan Woodard Eller age 81 of Todd passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Foley Center in Blowing Rock. Mrs. Eller was born in Ashe County on March 13, 1939 to Ernest and Lettie Eldreth Woodard. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Eller, three sisters-Geneva Eller, Jean Winebarger and Sally Testerman, and one brother-Charles Woodard. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Eller is survived by four daughters: Debbie Hartsoe of Todd, Cindy Harper of Boone, Sandy Phillips and husband Steve of Boone, Missi Blevins of Deep Gap, one sister, Billie Farmer and husband E.H. of Warrensville, one brother, Ernie Woodard and wife Linda of Todd, grandchildren: Breanne Beach, Danielle Greene, Nikki Rominger, Kelly Phillips, Matt Phillips, Josh Phillips, Lance Blevins, Amanda Harper, great grandchildren, Madison Greene, Nate Greene, Johnny Miller, Dalton Rominger, Brady Rominger, MacKenzie Rominger, Lucas England, Claire England; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow in the Woodard Family Cemetery.
