JoAnn (Jordan) Hash

JoAnn Jordan Hash age 79 of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Hash was born August 27, 1943 in Ashe County to the late Grady and Lessie Parsons Jordan.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Hash, son, Chadrick Hash, brothers, Wayne, Doyle and Rex Jordan, sister, Jude Jordan and grandchild, Victoria Lynn Cockerham.

JoAnn was a strong member of Mt. Jefferson Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.  She enjoyed reading and teaching the Bible, cooking, going on trips with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 3:00pm at Big Flatts Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Casey. Burial will follow in Big Flatts Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm prior to the service at Big Flatts Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hash is survived by, sons, Chris Hash of Jefferson and Craig Hash and wife Wendi of Fleetwood, sister, Shirley Osborne and husband Robert of Crumpler, grandchildren, Logan and Lessie Ann Hash.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
