John Charles Bowers

John Charles Bowers, age 68 of Crumpler, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Bowers was born on October 3, 1952 in Ashe County to the late Robert Claude and Thelma Adkins Bowers.

Mr. Bowers enjoyed hunting. He liked antiques and going to flea markets and auctions.

He is survived by:  his wife, June Mahaffey Bowers; two daughters, Stephanie Williams of Mooresville and Michelle Bowers of Boone; one son, Robert Bowers of Boone; one sister, Laura Young of Crumpler; also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Ella and Banks Williams and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens by Rev. Lewis Young.

The family requests that masks be worn at the service and please practice social distancing.
