John Reeves Campbell

John Reeves Campbell, age 82 of Lansing, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Margate Health and Rehab. Mr. Campbell was born in Ashe County on August 20, 1938 to the late John Andrew and Lula Jane Stuart Campbell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life, Alice Fay Taylor Campbell, brother, Elmer Lionel Campbell, stepson, Paul W. Dunn, stepdaughter, Marjorie F. Norris, and a nephew, Danny R. Campbell.

Mr. Campbell is survived by one brother, Delbert Ray Campbell of Lansing; three stepsons, Fred Denny Dunn (Gaye), Wiley L. Dunn (Melissa), and Bobby R. Dunn (Marcella); niece, Kayla Phillips (Doug); caregiver and friend, Sandra Billings; also surviving are several grandchildren and extended family.

A private graveside service will be held at the Blackburn Cemetery.
