John Hodgson

Mr. John Martin Hodgson, age 91, of West Jefferson, NC, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2003, 11:00 A.M. at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel in Jefferson with Rev. Joey McClure, Rev. Bluford Eldreth, and Rev. Ronda Rash officiating. Interment will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hodgson was born in Washington County, VA June 12, 1911 to Henry and Sally Hodgson. He was a farmer.

Survivors include - his wife Millie Widner Hodgson

One daughter - Lula Belle Eller of Warrensville, NC

Four sons - John Henry Hodgson of Lexington, NC
Bill Hodgson of Mebane, NC
Robert Hodgson of Mebane, NC
Don Hodgson of Crumpler, NC
Twelve grandchildren, one step grandchild, fifteen great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.
