John Weaver

John Benjamin "Ben" Weaver age 87 of West Jefferson, NC died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at the Ashe Living Center. Mr. Weaver was born on July 14, 1916 in Ashe County, NC to James Marion and Rebecca Biggs Weaver. He was a beekeeper, loved to garden and work in his yard. He was a devoted Primitive Baptist all his life.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 5, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Goodman and Elder Floyd South will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Badger Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Ashe, PO Box 421, Jefferson, NC 28640.

Daughter: Margaret Weaver Graybeal and husband Elbert of West Jefferson, NC
