John Kenneth Eller, III

John Kenneth Eller III, better known as Kenny, age 64 of Warrensville, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone. Mr. Eller was born on July 31, 1957 in Ashe County to Johnny K. Eller II and Martha May Eller. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Eller was a member of Clifton Baptist Church and loved engaging with children and youth. He enjoyed trading and selling, as well as fixing up and restoring cars. Mr. Eller was a people person who never met a stranger. He had a love for helping others, enjoyed his animals, and dearly loved his church and his family.

Mr. Eller is survived by: his wife, Catherine “Cathy” Jones Eller; one son, John K. Eller IV (and daughter-in-law Amy) of Huntersville; his father, Johnny K.Eller II (and special friend Barbara Hoosier) of Warrensville; three grandchildren, Noah Reid Eller, Brooke Caroline Eller, and Eva Grace Eller; special mother figure and friend, Martha “Mama” Byers of Grover.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Wayne Jones, Rev. Jimmy Galgano, and his son Johnny Eller. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel with funeral services starting afterwards.
