Johnny William McNeill

Johnny William McNeill Jr., age 57 of West Jefferson passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his home.  Johnny was born February 8, 1960 in Ashe County to Johnny and Tencie Dishman McNeill.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy James “Buzz” McNeill.

He was a graduate of Beaver Creek High School.  He was currently employed by Jefferson Landing.

Private graveside services were held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Obids Country Church Cemetery by Rev. Randall Greene.

Johnny is survived by: one son, Brian Scott McNeill of West Jefferson, one Daughter, Ashleigh Nicole McNeill of West Jefferson, one brother, Tommy McNeill and wife Kim of Ferguson, two sisters, Robin Dyer of West Jefferson and Carol Mathers and husband Patrick of Jefferson, several nieces and nephews also survive.
