Jonathan Ross Kemp "Jon"

Jonathan Ross Kemp, better known as Jon, age 68 of Lansing passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. He was born on December 19, 1955 in Red Bank, New Jersey to the late Clark Plumber and Irene Mae Robinson Kemp.

Mr. Kemp is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly, two sons, Clark and Cris, grandchildren, Kadin, Malan, Margaret and Jackson, his brother, Walter and wife, Martha, six brothers-in-laws, six sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Jon will be remembered for his friendships and his services of over 50 years of scouting, his sense of humor and his loyalty. Jon will be missed by many and was such a happy camper to all.

Jon's wishes were to be cremated; a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 14th beginning at 12:00 noon at the Helton Community Center at 240 Old Helton School Road, Lansing, NC 28643.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jon’s memory to the OHC Cook Crew at BSA Old Hickory Council in care of OHCCC or sent to Camp Raven Knob; 6600 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27106.
