June Stike

June Stike, age 84 of Jefferson passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at her home.  June was born on Wednesday May 8, 1935 in Ashe County, North Carolina.  Mrs. Stike was preceded in death by her husband John William Stike.  June enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden, she was a member of Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church and she loved her family very much.

Mrs. Stike is survived by two sons, John David Stike and wife Benita of Holly Springs, North Carolina and Johnny Ray Stike of Advance, North Carolina, two grandsons, Stephen Travis Stike and Christopher John Stike, one great-grandson, Douglas Quick and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2020 at 1:00pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Cory Halsey.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00-7:00pm at Ashelawn.

Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
