Kenneth Don Hurley age 72 of Creston, NC, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Watauga Medical Center.
Mr. Hurley was born in Ashe County, NC on March 23, 1933. He was preceded in death by his mother Ethel Faye Hurley. Mr. Hurley worked at Southern Device for 19 years, he later worked at Ashe County Motors and the Ashe County Transportation Authority. When not working he loved fishing and being outdoors.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 10, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sean Brigman, Rev. Jason Coaly, and Rev. Rector Henson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery in Creston, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 9, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Badger Funeral Home.

Wife: Mary Elizabeth Lewis Hurley

Sons: Rev. Rick Hurley and Kenny Wayne Hurley both of Creston, NC

Sister: Josephine Johnson of Delaware

Brother: Jerry Hurley of Delaware
