Kenney Wayne Hurley

Kenney Wayne Hurley, age 61 of Creston, died Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Ashe Memorial Hospital.  Kenny was born November 13, 1958 in Ashe County to Kenneth and Mary Lewis Hurley.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Kenny loved his family very much and enjoyed taking his granddaughter places.  He was a talented guitar player and could do anything he set his mind to.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Brother James Henson and Brother Rick Hurley.  Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery. Mr. Hurley will lie in state from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Hurley is survived by his daughter, Kendra Leigh Hurley of Creston, his mother, Mary Elizabeth Hurley of Creston, brother, Rick Hurley of Creston, granddaughter Kaydence Anne Southerland of Creston.
