Lacey "E. J." Estel Perry Jr.

Lacey Estel Perry Jr., better known as E.J., age 71 of Mountain City, formerly of Ashe, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.  He was born September 18, 1948 to the late Lacey Estel Sr. and Elsie “Granny” Perry.  He owned and operated Perry Septic in Doe Valley, TN until retirement.  He was a devoted member of Big Laurel Mennonite Church.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He was a loving husband, caring father and grandfather and a wonderful friend.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services will be private.

Mr. Perry is survived by, his loving wife of 26 years, Freda Perry, son, Lacey Perry III and wife Niomia of Creston, daughters, Vickie Cooper of Creston, Amanda Farmer and husband Johnny of Jefferson and Ashley Dillard of the home, sister, Elaine Brewer of Creston, grandchildren, Curtis, Devin, Haley, James and Hannah, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
