Larry Dean

Larry Dean Pennington age 57 of Warrensville, NC died Sunday morning at his residence. Mr. Pennington was born on August 4, 1946 to Harrison and Belle Poe Pennington. He was a farmer and musician, and played the banjo with the Big Country Bluegrass Band for 15 years. He had the honor of playing at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville, TN.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Greer, Rev. Fred Greer and Rev. Jim Francis will officiate. Burial will follow in the Poe Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 27, 2003 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Sisters: Barbara Pennington of Warrensville, NC
Carolyn Miller and husband Buddy of Warrensville, NC

Grandson: Preston Mash
