Lester Paul Hart, age 76 of Thomasville, formerly of Ashe County, died Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Thomasville Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Elders Bluferd Eldreth, Dean Shepherd, and Ronda Rash will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel and again on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Hart was born on December 4, 1926, son of the late Oscar Lee Hart and Mary Bell Stidham Hart. He married Arvinia Barker on August 3, 1974. He worked at the Thomasville Furniture Company for 23 years prior to retirement. He enjoyed camping during his younger years, and loved listening to the radio.
Survivors include his wife, Arvinia Hart of Thomasville, one aunt, Belvie Miller of Lansing, several brothers and sisters-in-law, many cousins, nieces and nephews, two great nephews and one great niece.
