Lillian Arbutus Jones

Lillian Arbutus Jones, 81, of Pennsville, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 24th 2024.

Born in Waynesville NC to the late Loyd B. Caldwell and Lorreta A. Burnette on March 23 1943, her family moved to Salem County, NJ when she was a young girl, where she grew up and raised her family. She worked for Gainers and later Anchor Glass in Salem, NJ for many years. She loved to cook. She was an avid Cowboys football fan and loved to watch horse races.

She is predeceased by her son, Earl M. Moriarty Jr., her partner Nelson E. Chapman, and her beloved cousin, Grady "Junior" Burnette.

She is survived by her beloved friend and caregiver, Brenda Trivette (Kenneth) of Creston, NC; her grandson, Kristopher Moriarty and his wife Gabrielle Moriarty of Mickleton, NJ; her daughters-in-law, Jae Faulhaber and Rebecca Moriarty of Pennsville, NJ; and her beloved cousin, Betty Burnette of Hildebran, NC.
