Linda (Reedy) Caldwell

Linda Reedy Caldwell, age 73 of Crumpler died Monday, May 30, 2022 at Margate Health and Rehab.  Mrs. Caldwell was born on November 10, 1948 in Grayson, Virginia to the late Riley Bramlet and Pauline Barker Reedy.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ray Caldwell and daughter, Alisa Sue Caldwell.

Mrs. Caldwell was a member of New River Baptist Church for over 45 years where she taught arts and crafts during Vacation Bible School.  Linda enjoyed painting and working in her flowers, she also loved to spend time with her friends and family.

Mrs. Caldwell is survived by one daughter, Shelia Shatley of Crumpler, two brothers, Claude Reedy (Ellie) of Rockingham and Harold Reedy (Helen) of Piney Creek two sisters, Dorothy Miller (Johnny) of Laurel Springs and Sharon Leftwich (Gerald) of Glade Valley, three grandchildren, Amber Maxwell (O'Brian) of Lansing, Abbigail Caldwell of FL and Caleb Shatley of Crumpler, three great-grandchildren, Bently, Kaylee and Elijah and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 3:00pm at New River Baptist Church by Rev. Wayne Jones.  The family will receive friends following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Medi-Home Hospice; PO Box 421, Jefferson, NC 28640.

The family will begin receiving visitors at the home of her daughter, Shelia on Saturday, June 4th at 1353 Hudler Town Rd., Crumpler, NC 28617.
