Linda Josephine (Bishop) Lawrence

Linda Josephine Bishop Lawrence, age 74 of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022.

She was born in Wadesboro, NC on December 27, 1947 to the late Homer Loyd Bishop and Josephine Mae Shelley Bishop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Morris Elbert (Larry) Lawrence, and her niece Robyn Wallace Kilpatrick.

Mrs. Lawrence was an LPN until her retirement. She loved to sew and sent dolls to Nicaragua. She loved all her dogs, especially Josie. She loved to ride horses, especially Apache. She loved Jesus and loved to tell about the time she went to Nicaragua on a mission trip with Larry.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Mark Wallace. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 11:45 am prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by two daughters, Jane Stovall (Brian) of Pendergrass, GA and Jada Lawrence of Hopeland, PA; her sister, Janie Wallace, and favored nephew Mark Wallace (Tammy) with whom she resided the last 3 years; great-nephew Keith Wallace; great-nieces Georgia and Shelley Wallace; three grandchildren, Kristen Villalvir (Anner), Caleb Stovall (Marci), Hayden Crutchfield and several great-grandchildren, great-great nieces and great-great nephews also survive.
