Linda Phipps

Linda Phipps, age 57 of Lansing, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Linda was born June 4, 1963 in Ashe County to the late Bethel and Hazel Bennett Phipps.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Phipps.  Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  She enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with her cat, Gracie.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Meadowview Mennonite Church by Rev. Dan Hess and Rev. Mark Harless.  The family will greet friends following the service .

Ms. Phipps is survived by, two sons, Justin Harless and Curt Harless both of Lansing, five brothers, Elmer, Gary, Randall, Buzz and Jeff Phipps, special friend, Michael Farmer. 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
