Louise Miller DiVenere

Louise Miller DiVenere, age 80, of West Jefferson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Born in Ashe County on April 3, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Helen Miller. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter DiVenere.

She is survived by her daughters, Angie Stansberry and husband Eddie of Lansing, and Tamara DiVenere and husband Jak Reeves of Boone. She was a proud grandmother to Trane DiVenere-Reeves and Theo DiVenere-Reeves. Also surviving are her dear cousins Linda George and Brenda Hall, and special friends Kay Hargis and Polly Testerman. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Tiger. 

Louise loved to tend to flowers in the garden outside her home and will forever be known for her kindness to all people and animals. She was a fierce protector of those she loved and conveyed her generous spirit to each person lucky enough to encounter her.

Per her request, all services will be private.

The family respectfully requests no food please. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
