Lourene Roark age 87 of Sparta, NC formerly of Ashe County, NC died Friday, June 20, 2003 at Sunbridge of Allegahany. Ms. Roark was born on June 13, 1916 in Ashe County, NC to Emmet Greene and Nora Ada Graybeal Roark.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 23, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Piney Creek Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Lloyd Day will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Piney Creek Methodist Church Cemetery, c/o Sarah McMillan, 1297 Garvey Rd. Piney Creek, NC 28663.
