Mabeline Miller Osborne

Mabeline Miller Osborne, age 68, of Lansing, NC died on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Margate Health and Rehab Center in Jefferson. Mrs. Osborne was born on June 4, 1945 in Ashe County, NC to Teddy Lester "Short" and the late Grace Greer Miller. Mrs. Osborne enjoyed quilting, working in her flowers, spending time with her dog Hope, and reading the Bible. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and attended New Home Baptist Church and Apple Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Minister Danny Miller and Rev. Tommy Dollar. Burial will follow in Old Miller Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Osborne is survived by: daughter, Sue Miller and husband Rex of Lansing, her father, Teddy Lester "Short" Miller of Lansing, sister, Volera Farmer and husband Jack of Lansing, two grandchildren, Brandon Miller and fiancée Ashley Ruff, Vanessa Campbell, nephew, Billy Farmer. Also surviving are several cousins.

Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to Ashe Services for Aging, Meals on Wheels, 185 Chattyrob Lane, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
