Mack Edward Taylor

Mack Edward Taylor, age 69 of Jefferson, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born July 4, 1948 in Ashe County, NC to Walter Fred And Lucy Jean Mullis Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Willard Taylor, two sisters, Ruth Taylor and Bertha Kimberlin. Mr. Taylor enjoyed going to church, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Taylor is survived by:  his wife, Brenda Wyatt Taylor; one son, Joe Taylor and wife Tina of Jefferson; two brothers, Wayne Taylor of Thomasville and Earl Junior Taylor of West Jefferson; four sisters, Wilma Lewis, Marie Lewis, Dorothy Miller and Ollie Segraves, all of West Jefferson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by Rev. Dean Shaw. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, May 19, 2018 prior to the funeral service at Ashelawn.
