Maggie Grogan
Maggie Hazel Grogan, age 83 of Jefferson died Thursday, October 23, 2003 at the Ashe Living Center.
Mrs. Grogan was born on February 20, 1920 in Ashe County to the late Ken Benge and Nora Grubb Benge. She loved to sew and made clothes for her children, family and friends. She also sang in many churches with her husband while he played the guitar.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodford Cemetery in Todd. Mrs.Grogan will lie in state from 10 A.M. until time of service in the chapel.
